Interview: Lindi Mngaza

Lindi Mngaza was the fifth person to be fired.

AOL TV settled down to discover that it really hasn't knocked her confidence...

We didn't see much of you over the series, or even in this week's boardroom.

I know! It's such a shame. These things happen, such is life. It's an hour-long show and the tasks are generally over two days, so they cram everything into such a short period of time. And they have to show the people who are staying more. So it's just one of those things.

Do you think the people who we saw more of are the ones with Marmite personalities then? The ones that we either love or hate?

Yeah, most definitely. I also think that if you're arguing every minute and doing mad stuff then you're going to be on TV a lot. If that's your agenda and that's what you want to do then great, but I went in there because I wanted a job. I seriously believed I was going to win, that's why I did it.

So you were happy to play the quiet game?

I wasn't playing a quiet game at all; you just didn't see a lot of me. I sold the most fish; I collected the most laundry; I facilitated the floor in the restaurant task and sold the most tickets. But it's a shame that in an hour-long show you didn't get to see that.
