Hayley Tamaddon is will apparently be on Dancing On Ice

Hayley Tamaddon is the latest soap star set to take part in Dancing On Ice, according to reports.

The 32-year-old played Delilah Dingle in Emmerdale between 2005 and 2007, and is now preparing to get her skates on, The Sun claims.

A source told the newspaper: "Hayley's really excited. She is a really warm character and usually does well on these things.

"She has spoken to other Emmerdale stars who have taken part and they all encouraged her."

Aussie actress Emily Symons, who played Louise Appleton in the rural soap, and Roxanne Pallett, who starred as Jo Sugden, have both competed in the skating show.

Hayley has made a foray into reality TV before, and was runner-up to Corrie's Antony Cotton in 2007's Soapstar Superstar.

EastEnder Danniella Westbrook, ex-Corrie star Danny Young and Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson are also reported to be among the Dancing On Ice line-up this year, but show bosses are not commenting on speculation at this stage.
