Ladies beware! There will soon be one more reason for fellas to disappear from your side and fixate on the box on weekday teatimes.

Australian pin-up beauty Imogen Bailey will soon be hotting up Ramsay Street when she arrives on British screens later this month.

The actress and model will join the Neighbours cast as sexy new character Nicola West, the younger sister of school janitor Miranda Parker.

Nicola is set to stir things up with the revelation she has feelings for Miranda's husband Steve.

In an interview with Australia's Courier-Mail, Imogen admitted she was surprised to get the role: "Acting is a passion of mine," she says.

"It has been a slow burn. I have done bits and pieces over the years.

"When my agent called and said I had the role, I thought he was joking."

Imogen will be well known to readers of men's magazines such as FHM and Zoo Weekly and has even graced the pages of Playboy.

However, Imogen isn't the only new cast member likely to set pulses racing.

Erin McNaught, the 2006 Miss Australia, joins the show in the same week. She will play Sienna Cammeniti, the cousin of long-running character Carmella.
