Terms and conditions

1. The prize promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over except employees (and their families) of AOL (UK) Limited, Channel 4 and any affiliates or subsidiary companies, as well as representatives or agents of AOL, Channel 4 and anyone else who may be involved or connected with the prize promotion. Any entries submitted by agents or third parties shall be invalid and not be accepted by the Promoter. Any entries submitted by agents or third parties will be invalid and will not be accepted by the Promoter.

2. You may enter this prize promotion by answering the multiple-choice question and submitting the requested contact details set out in the online entry.

3. Fifty winners will win a pair of tickets to one of the six Skins Preview Parties being held in Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol and London. Each winner must agree to and be aware of the following:

i. Each winner and their guest must be over 18 years old
ii. Each winner and their guest must bring photographic ID with them to prove dates of birth (only a valid passport, driving licence or similar photo ID will be accepted)
iii. E4 reserves the right to refuse entry
iv. E4 is not responsible for transportation or accommodation on the night of the party - winners and their guests have to make their own way there and home again
v. E4 cannot guarantee that the Skins cast will attend any of the parties
vi. All billings are subject to change without notice
vii. You will receive your entry code via SMS up to 72 hours before the party. This is unique to you and cannot be transferred
viii. Your SMS ticket only guarantees entry before 7.30pm
ix. No re-entry
x. E4 will be filming at the event for use online and on E4

4. The prize promotion closing date is Wednesday 23rd of January 2008 ('Closing Date') and any entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted by the Promoter.

5. The winning entries will be selected by an independent judge on 24th January 2008. The winner will be issued with an SMS ticket, which will need to be shown on entry at their selected Skins party.

6. If you are notified of a winning entry, you must confirm acceptance by both telephone and email to claim your prize. If you do not reply to confirm acceptance within 5 days of being notified as a winner, we may offer your prize to someone else

7. Only one competition entry per person is permitted.

8. Submission of entries will not constitute proof of receipt and no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries or acceptances which the Promoter does not receive. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data in transit. No responsibility will be accepted for entries which are lost, delayed or damaged in the post or elsewhere. Illegible, incomplete, late or defaced entries will be disqualified.

9. The prizes must be taken as offered. No cash equivalent or other alternative prizes are available in whole or in part except as provided for in these terms and conditions.

10. All prizes are non-transferable and where prizes consist of tickets to events, all such tickets are non-refundable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize or prizes of an equivalent value should the prize become unavailable for any reason. If any winner is not able for whatever reason to accept the prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.

11. The winner's name and location can be obtained by sending a SAE to the Promoter after 24th January 2008.

12. The winners agree to participate in any publicity or other such promotional activities which the Promoter may reasonably require in connection with the prize promotion and the Promoter shall have the right to use each winner's name, likeness, image, voice and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the prize promotion in all media without further notice and without the need to make any payment to the winner for such use.

13. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the prize promotion.

14. No purchase is necessary to enter this prize competition. Please send a post card with the answer to the question and your name, postal address, email address and telephone to the address stated below to arrive no later than 2 days after the Closing Date.
