Shobna Gulati has bought her wedding dress - even though she's single. The 'Coronation Street' actress - who is shortly to return to the ITV soap as Sunita Alahan - fell in love with the outfit as soon as she saw it, but admits her decision to buy it when she isn't even engaged is unusual. She explained: "It makes me sound crazy, but I saw it in India last year and had to have it. It's olive green with hand-beaded trousers and top. I'll wear it to the Oscars or my wedding - whichever's first."

Shobna is not the only 'Coronation Street' star to reveal an unusual fashion secret.

Katherine Kelly, who plays Becky Granger, has admitted she loves the "trailer trash" clothing Becky wears and has even splashed out on items for the character herself.

She said: "Becky's wardrobe is so 'trailer trash'. I absolutely love it! When I go shopping for myself, I always bring something back for her. I bought her the gold necklace that says 'Becky'."
