Katherine Kelly wants her soap husband's ex-wife to come back to 'Coronation Street' so they can fight. The actress - who plays loudmouth Becky Granger in the ITV soap - is keen for a showdown with fiance, Steve McDonald 's equally sharp-tongued ex-wife Karen in the show. Katherine said: "I've become good friends with Suranne Jones, who played Karen, and I'd love to work with her. She's up for coming back just to have a fight.

"She says she'd love to come back for the 50th anniversary shows in 2010. We could tear each other to bits!"

Katherine also suggested another potential storyline for the pair - which would cause future husband Steve (Simon Gregson) even more upset.

She added to Britain's Radio Times magazine: "Or else we could get on really well and s**g Steve off, which would worry him more. It'd be brilliant."

Suranne - who was twice married to Steve - left 'Coronation Street' at the end of 2004 after a huge falling out with Tracy Barlow, with who he has a baby daughter.
