Day 9 saw the campers ready to snap, as they were tormented by hunger.

At 4.21am, John rose and lit the fire, cleaned the dunny and cooked beans for breakfast. Janice described him as a "mad dog Englishman", because he seemed almost programmed to prepare the camp for the day ahead.

Meanwhile, Janice faced her seventh Bushtucker Trial, a World record!

She joined up with J to attempt the Uneasy Rider - riding 100ft up, across a ravine. to smash stars and win meals.

J drove the bike and Janice sat in the sidecar with her velvet baton, poised to collect as many stars as possible. The end result was 10 meals, almost matching Katie, who had managed 11 in her trial.

J and Janice decided to play a trick by pretending that they'd failed the task, but when the final result was revealed they were hailed as heroes.

Later, the Bush Battle showed Anna, Cerys and Marc holding onto cords to prevent a cask of vomit-like liquid being dumped all over them. Cerys accidentally let go first, with Marc following soon after, as Anna stayed the distance and gained immunity from the first eviction tomorrow.

Rodney was stretchered out of camp after injuring his knee collecting logs.

However, he was determined to return to camp and reappeared when Ant and Dec arrived to announce the results of the next Bushtucker Trial.

Janice and Lynn will pair up to attempt the Jungle Sweet Shop Trial, to win food for the camp.
