Day 8 proved to be a day of bonding in the jungle, as Marc and Cerys declared there was "So much to say about life!" - But they weren't intending to say it in front of the cameras...

They cosied up in a hammock together, oblivious to the rest of the celebrities. Later on, they continued to exchange smouldering glances as John commented that some things were meant to be and that he didn't think that it was just because they'd been thrown together by the programme.

Meanwhile, Lynne was facing her fears in the Tunnel of Terror as she won 5 meals for the camp by searching for stars amongst rats, spiders, frogs and various other creepy-crawlies. She milked it for all it was worth once she arrived back in the group, with John describing her performance as "Oscar winning".

The Bush Battle, to win immunity from eviction, saw Lynne, Janice, Biggins and Rodney in a test of concentration and focus entitled "Hard Boiled". They each had a giant egg-timer to turn, and whoever kept the sand flowing the longest would emerge as the winner. Janice lost focus first, followed by Biggins who simply got bored. Lynne and Rodney went head to head, before Lynne deferred to him, after battling for over 6 hours.

The starving celebrities hopes rest on Janice and J, who will face the next Bushtucker Trial, Uneasy Rider. Working together, they will attempt to ride across a high wire to win meals for the camp.
