Day 3 in the jungle saw the two camps merge into one, but not until after battle commenced in the Bushtucker Trial and Community Chest Challenge.

Janice and John took the Sushi Train of Pain, attempting to eat such delicacies as cockroaches and silk worms. Janice barely forced down a fish eye after labelling the trial the "sickest game in history!" John swallowed locusts, crocodile eyes, crocodile penis and a witchity grub - describing it as tasting like an oyster.

The Croc Creek team triumphed again in the Community Chest challenge, as Cerys and J competed to knock keys from piñatas. Cerys discreetly pocketed the keys and surprised J by beating him easily. After the task, they chatted about becoming one group - and Cerys shocked J by letting him know that there were only five beds available.

Back at Croc Creek, the celebs correctly guessed which box to open and were rewarded with precious coffee bags.

Their evening meal consisted of a roast suckling pig with all the trimmings. Marc could hardly contain his excitement and admitted he was overwhelmed by the thought of a jungle feast.

The news that the two camps were uniting created a rare moment of bonding between Janice and Lynne as they discussed joining the other group. Katie seemed quite shy and retiring compared to the two dominant females, but she was selected to face the next Bushtucker Trial, Grave Danger, hoping to win food for her companions.

Perhaps her finest hour is yet to come...
