David Tennant's Doctor deal
(BANG) - David Tennant has reportedly been offered a £1.5million deal to continue starring in 'Doctor Who'.
The 37-year-old actor - who has starred as the Time Lord since 2005 - is set to stay on the sci-fi show after negotiating a pay rise with the BBC following the departure of writer Russell T Davies, who has been replaced by Steven Moffat.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It will be a nice team and David has to meet everyone to make a final decision. But we are gearing up to offer him a massive deal. He is interested. Everyone thought he was going but it's not as open and shut as that."
Meanwhile, it has been reported 'TittyTittyBangBang' star Velile Tshabalala will be starring in the Christmas special of the show, and will help the Doctor fight The Cybermen in Victorian Times.
The news comes after Catherine Tate's character Donna Noble, who accompanied the Doctor on his time travelling adventures, left the show when her memory was wiped.
A source said: "With Catherine Tate gone, Velile was the perfect choice." (C) BANG Media International
