Alex Wotherspoon's new show
(BANG) - Alex Wotherspoon is reportedly set to front his own business show later this year.
The 24-year-old heartthrob - who made it to the final of Sir Alan Sugar's TV show 'The Apprentice' earlier this year - is in discussions with TV bosses at both BBC and LivingTV to present a new TV programme.
Alex said: "I'm being really picky with the series ideas that have been presented to me. It has to be right."
Alex won't be the first contestant from 'The Apprentice' to forge a successful TV career.
Ruth Badger, who appeared on the reality show last year, has her own series on Sky One called 'Badger Or Bust', while Alex's competitor Raef Bjayou was recently reported to be a new presenter on 'The Richard and Judy Show'.
Raef has also signed up to star in reality show 'The Underdog Show' on LivingTV.
He will be teamed up with Suz, a two-year-old orphaned dog, for the series which will see him try to teach the animal tricks in a bid to impress judges Brendan Cole, Donelda Guy and Steve Mann.
He said: "I'm hoping to use skills I learned in 'The Apprentice'." (C) BANG Media International
