Hayley is set for return to Corrie
Corrie fans rejoice - Hayley Cropper is returning to Weatherfield.
Actress Julie Hesmondhalgh has been taking a 12-month break due to exhaustion.
According to the current storyline, her character, transsexual cafe worker and knicker-stitcher Hayley, is doing charity work in Africa.
She will return to Corrie in September.

A source told The Mirror: "Julie just wanted to take time off and do normal things like take her daughter to school.
"Recharging her batteries and being a mum was top of the agenda."
Hayley's last storyline involved her coming to terms with meeting her own son, who reacted violently by attacking her.
However, when Becky found out, she gave the confused record shop worker a taste of his own medicine.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Julie's first Corrie appearance.
She made her debut as Hayley Patterson in January 1998, and went on to become one of the show's most popular characters.
