Chris Brown's Deep movie

(BANG) - Singer Chris Brown is in talks to star in new movie 'Bone Deep'.

The 19-year-old star is reportedly in final negotiations with Sony Pictures speciality label Screen Gems to appear in the film alongside Matt Dillon, rapper T.I. and Idris Elba.

John Lussenhop has signed up to direct the movie, which follows a group of criminals as they try and outrun two detectives who are chasing them in a bid to prevent them carrying out their planned heist on a money depot.

'Bone Deep' would not be Chris' screen debut. In 2007, he starred as Duron in musical movie 'Stomp The Yard', and appeared in holiday film 'This Christmas' later that year.

He can soon be seen in films 'Caramel' and 'Phenom', which will be released next year.

He is also enjoying massive success in his musical career, having recently been named Best Male Artist at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards.
