Tweed lays roses on Jade's grave
The widower of Jade Goody laid six roses on the reality television star's grave after being freed from prison.
Jack Tweed, 21, spent around 15 minutes at Goody's grave in Upshire, Essex, after leaving prison.
Tweed, of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, had served half a 12-week sentence imposed in April after he was convicted of assaulting a taxi driver.
He was driven away from Edmunds Hill prison near Newmarket, Suffolk, at around 10am after being met by his mother Mary and friend Mark Wright.
Tweed visited the graveyard near Goody's former home with his mother about five hours later.
He was jailed by magistrates in Harlow, Essex, after a court heard he attacked Stephen Wilkins in Epping, Essex, in May 2008.
Prosecutors said Mr Tweed threatened to stab the taxi driver while the car was travelling at 50mph. They said Mr Tweed lost his temper after being asked to pay the fare in advance.
Magistrates said Mr Tweed would serve half of his sentence before being released on licence. Tweed had denied any wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty.
It was the second time in ten months he had been convicted of assault. In September he was jailed after a jury found him guilty of hitting a 16-year-old boy with a golf club.
Goody - who was famed for her appearances on the Channel 4 show Big Brother - died in April after losing a fight against cancer. She married Tweed shortly before her death.
