Saxophonist Julian Smith has made it through to the final of Britain's Got Talent after winning the public vote.

The 39-year-old from Birmingham will be joined by grandfather and granddaughter Two Grand after the singing duo was saved by the judges vote.

Susan Boyle, who has been struggling to cope with the pressure of her new fame, has already made it into the grand final of the ITV1 show on Saturday night.

Boyle, 48, dubbed the Hairy Angel, lost her temper in the lobby of the Wembley Plaza Hotel in north London after being "wound up" by two strangers.

Show judge Piers Morgan jumped to her defence, saying she has been in "floods of tears" and has considered quitting the show to escape the attention.
