We love an inappropriate soap coupling, and this week Emmerdale comes up trumps with a shocking age-gap romp between buxom blonde 30-something Louise Appleton and ickle ice-cream king, Jamie Hope. Despite being old enough to be Jamie's gym-slip mum, Louise can't help herself when Jamie steps up his flirting campaign. Soon the pair are getting saucy in his ice cream van. Let's face it, she's had the rest of the male population of the village - what's one more to add to the list?
Another inappropriate, and potentially explosive, coupling in the making is publican Diane Sugden and her husband Jack's arch nemesis, Billy Hopwood. Despite being a former con, and the man behind tearing apart the lives of at least two or three of the village's families, Diane just can't help herself with Billy and this week battles her passions in a bid to resist an affair. Oh why bother, Di? We all know within weeks you'll be unlocking the door to the beer cellar and forgetting all about these morals you're pretending to have. Poor Jack!
